Major RPG Announcement Coming for 360

I didn't see a lot of things that sold well in previous incarnations. Anyway, I will reserve judgment until the game comes out and falls flat on its face over there. I really wish they'd save the small amount of money and spend it on the people that give a damn about the system instead of trying to appeal to people that are so close-minded. You're going to tell me that GT4 is worth selling 50x more than Forza? I don't care what territory you're in; that's a bit ridiculous.

The 360 won't succeed in japan no matter what game becomes available. Viruta Fighter 5 could be exclusive and they system will still sell like shit. The japanese are too fucking loyal to japanese products. Just doesn't matter...

They should advertise that it plays bukkake DVDs on the box, that'll sell systems. Or maybe a tentacle add-on would do the trick.

Yeah, but the consistent top sellers/ most popular genres were up on it. As sad as it is I think it's probably a pretty damn good gauge of what makes it on the poularity scale over there. Now whether or not something of that calibur is what is referred to in this thread, who knows. But that's what it will take, I think. And I think Microsoft knows this too...

Yeah ,and Madden 2005 sold more copies than ESPN NFL 2K5, the new True Crime outsold Psychonauts, and Cabelas Hunter probably sold more than all of it combined (I really hope not). Most of the general public has shitty taste and/or doesnt want to risk spending money on a game they havent heard about from their friends, seen on a commercial,etc...The Gaming Industry sucks like that...

If the japanese are stupid enough to make a top 100 best games list full of 90% jrpgs, then they are also stupid enough to buy a 360 just to play the sequal to one of those games.
