I see references to it, but I have no idea where it comes from. There's absolutely no way that you would write what should reasonably be NyuToRaRuBa as NeRa (Shyaina instead of Shiina is a stretch too).

I figure it's no less weird than all of the other weird Japanese short names. I'd really like to find out where it comes from. Maybe it's NeUToRaBuRa. That could work.

I won't buy it until I see something remotely affiliated with the game reference it that way. WTF is a Neutlarva anyway?

I always thought it sounded demonic, but there's a little behind it.
I think one page quotes the "Neut" part as a play on words. The mythological nonsense behind Newt is that newts are lizards born from fire, thus being evil sin-born or something creatures. Neut is also part of Neutral, meaning that Shaina has no real affiliation. And then of course larva is young, incomplete, like Shaina herself. And neutlarva. Come on, that's totally an ingrediant for a witch's potion.
It does make more sense than Shaina, going with the games wacky view on Judeo-Christianity, or whatever the hell it is.

I like Shyna, or Shaina, or whatever it is, just in a different way than Sinna. It's cuter, more feminine. Resurection!

I'm not sure whether this is a dumb name or a good one. When I was younger, and I first heard the name it was cool -- because its Dracula spelled backwards lols Now it just sounds kind of tacked on and dumb.
