  1. You stop that reading this instant!

I know what you mean. I used to read Longfellow nonstop and eventually had to ease myself off. The trick is to take it one at a time: work Longfellow first, and when you think you're done, squeeze whatever you can out of Balzac.

  3. I hope you guys are happy. Im crying now.

Yeah, but you're forgetting people who are very sensitive about their Balzac. I don't think they'd appreciate this "squeezing" you speak of. When I go at my Balzac, I like to do it gently. Nice and slow. Low-lighting like candles works well. Maybe do it in the bathtub.
I took all your French Toast.

Different strokes for different folks. I guess it's because my Balzac was a library copy so it's been around. Having been loved and handled vigorously for generations, this Balzac knows how to take a good beating.

Hmm, you'll have to let me have a glance at your Balzac one day then.

  7. I like to run my fingers through my copy of Balzac because of its enjoyably rough and gritty feeling.

Unfortunately, I took my Balzac to the beach last week to show it off and it wrinkled. Boy, that really shrunk me down to size. You're more than welcome to check out my hardcover Longfellow though. It's so big you'll need to use the index.

That's unfortunate about your Balzac. I am sure I could restore it though. Come over later and we'll give it a go.

And, yeah, bring your Longfellow. I'd love to sink my teeth into some of it. My mouth is watering for such stimulation.

  10. My Balzac is itchy.
