I remember reading in a Reggie Joystiq interview that he commented that people would like to play the classics without any enhancements, so even if Nintendo was stupid enough to add voices to Super Mario Bros., there should be an option to play the game in its original state.
You know what would seal the deal for the Revolution classic games download? Ape the Xbox LIVE concept and provide Co-op and Vs. online gamplay for these old games. That would give the Revolution the strongest advantage over emulation. I'd pay money to play Double Dragon 2, Super Spike V-Ball, and Gunstar Heroes online with other TNL people.
