Nintendo didn't greenlight this? So much for their diversity and originality line.
Unexpected to say the least...

Anyway this excites me. Who'd have thought Nintendo would end up rejecting this instead of Sony.

I was worried at first until I read that the original is going to be included. I'm glad Pixel is finally going to see some money and more recognition for the game.
And as a US exclusive no less... How strange.
This seems to be a more common occurance these days. Alien Hominid, Melty Blood, Every Extend Extra, and now this...
Also, that boxart is awesome.

I was kind of expecting to see this hit Xbox Live Arcade, but a PSP release is going to be sweet. Cave Story was definitally one of the best games I played last year.
I finally got around to installing this. Seems fun, nice music.
That is crazy cool news. Seconded that the cover art is great. I am currently trying to finish the PC original. The atmosphere of the game is incredible and so engaging.
If they won't even greenlight a U.S. rev of Mother 1 and 2 for GBA then no surprise they'd pass on/be oblivious to an excellent homebrew platformer.Anyway this excites me. Who'd have thought Nintendo would end up rejecting this instead of Sony.
edit: Just noticed one of the forum members on that board said he was making nice progress on a GBA port of the game.

I assume you're including Canada for US releases but didn't Alien Hominid come out in Europe too?Originally Posted by Frogacuda
