San Andreas would have been fine if it weren't for all the "enhancements" like leveling up your bike riding skills.

It's funny, because all I did was play the game and those took care of themselves.

Me either. I'm not big on early 80's nostalgia, and even if I was I don't enjoy walking around for 10 minutes looking for someone actually driving a car so I can jack them.

Vice City was probably the best in the series, since it managed to still contain a lot of the shock-value GTA III had but didn't whore itself like San Andreas did. I still see it as a happy medium between III and San Andreas. I didn't like the 80s thing, but after playing the game long enough, it wears off and you barely seem to notice it.

Also, just because Rockstar bought rights to the Vice City Stories name doesn't mean this is what the game will be called. They tricked us a couple years ago by registering multiple names, none of which I think happened to actually be San Andreas. Until it's officially announced, I'll believe nothing.

No, everyone knew the game would be named San Andreas, because that was the third map in the original GTA. The other two? Liberty City and Vice City.

I'm getting it because I liked Vice City's setting a lot more than the other GTA's. Purple skies. Palm trees. Sunsets on the beach. That shit does it for me. [/chick]
