The guy from The Office wrote and guest starred on last week's episode and I loved it... Laughed a LOT. It's definitely been better, but I'll agree it's "golden age" is long gone. Still better than most shit on TV though.
I read about this the other day, and I'm glad to see this kind of confirmation on it. The Simpsons has been better with Al Jean as showrunner. The Scully years just about killed the show dead, and he got stuck trying to clean things up. He's done a good job this year, as it's his best one yet thus far.

Nothing is better than Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos. NOTHING.
Especially not Inu Yasha.
...or, yeah, the Simpsons.
Why wasn't I told this existed? Where can I buy this on DVD?Originally Posted by ChaoofNee
Everybody knows The Simpsons wasn't as good as it use to be, but it still has it's moments. No need to hate. You know you loved the show a some point in your life.

No, its not good, and its not better than it was during seasons 11 or 12. Its awful, its been awful for years, they ran out of ideas nearly a decade ago, and they are relying on gratuitous celebrity cameos to prop up the show. It's actually embarrassing - when Will & Grace do it, we all shake our heads because so clearly the show jumped the shark, but when Simpsons do it, the "show is improved".
No its not. There's plenty of good stuff if you care to look.I'll agree it's "golden age" is long gone. Still better than most shit on TV though.
I was a huge fan, when I was in 5th or 6th grade. That's when the show was at its peak, and most brilliant. Now its just needs to go away. You know you loved the show a some point in your life.

Here's the trailer. Homer's reaction managed to get a chuckle from me, at least.
I'll be making some as soon as enough episodes air heheOriginally Posted by aren
Agreed, you will see me in other threads stating the same thing when someone says that "TV is crap these days." My point is that there is still a LOT of shit on though, and I still make sure to watch the simpsons every week because I am still consistantly entertained by it.Originally Posted by diffusionx

Stuff they showd at Comic-Con. Line tests with no color. Both are actually a little funny and from what the fox guys said at Comic-Con are the weaker moments of the movie.

I love Comic-Con.
