Yeah, that's part of what my girlfriend was saying about him: He doesn't teach painting technique. He teaches "tricks" that really don't get one anywhere in painting, hence, the easy. Sure, you'll be able to add a happy little tree somewhere, but try painting a still life after that. Oh, Bob taught you well, didn't he?

Well duh. Teaching someone how to actually paint isn't really something you could cram into a half hour show. It's more entertainment than anything, but so what?
