When Rogan was on O&A he said a lot of it had to do with the post-janet-boob attiude of Comedy Central's Standards and Practices group. They essentually neutered anything really funny they wanted to do.

The Adam and Jimmy show had its moments here and there, like the woman's sufferage bit was great, but most of it was pretty stupid.
