Got it on my desk right now. The slipcase isn't as nice as the original MI, and the book doesn't fit inside like the previous one either. It comes with some nifty postcards too, that are mostly Maniax themed. The cardboard standee of Kyo and Iori is kind of pointless, but is very sturdy.
Haven't played yet, but holy shit- Richard Meyer from Fatal Fury 1 is in it!
By the way, what does the J-PS2 release of Maniax have added to it? Is it just online play?
