    CREATIONISM IS NOT A THEORY.

    ASTROLOGY IS NOT A THEORY.

ALIENS PUSHING EVOLUTION IN DIRECTIONS IS NOT A THEORY.

CREATIONISM IS A HYPOTHESIS AT BEST.

THIS CONFUSION IN LANGUAGE IS EXACTLY WHAT THE CHRISTIAN NUTS WANTED TO DO.

Science teachers have no business teaching whatever bullshit someone comes up with in class. There are appropriate classes for that I suppose, but a SCIENCE CLASS is not one of them.

Since when is a classroom about that? A classroom is about learning, and Christianity whether you like it or not is something that has impacted history and culture throughout the ages for more than two-thousand years now. If you're going to cover one side of the spectrum you should cover the others, because that is truly impartial teaching and not simply forcing one mindset over another.

If you were truly after an unpartisan education system you'd be for it. Of course g0zen proves how useless he is by going batshit crazy whenever a whisper of Christianity is uttered.

It wouldn't be a science class, and I'm not pushing it as one. It would be a social english class.

Besides, we've had a billion discussions about evolution/creationism and nobody ever agrees. Let's not de-rail another thread with this crap.

    Science is the new religion!

...Anyway if you want to teach your kids dumb shit send them to a private Christian school.

Edit- Was typing more but Diff said it for me a post below.

If you want your kids to learn detailed stuff about the religion you believe in, maybe you should try bringing them to, oh say, your church or temple and teach them there.

There are such classes. So I guess your argument is moot. The point is that Christian Creationism doesn't belong anywhere near the science curriculum and thats what Advocate05 (and other Christian lunatics) are, erm, advocating. That is what "taught alongside evolution" means.

Science is not about a plurality of views, it's about facts based on evidence. That's all. If you kept reading the thread you'd see I'm not alone in knowing this to be the case.

You said 'taught alongside evolution' and evolution is taught in biology class. Now you're either a moron or backpedalling, take your pick.
