Everytime I try to explain why I watch wrestling to someone, kt always comes back to the fact that most of the time, its two oiled and sweaty men wearing nothing but underwear and boots, hugging and, um, "frolicking" on the floor. And there's nothing I can say to that.

Pretty good Raw tonight. Everything entertained me, except Jerry Lawler's CONSTANT mentioning of HLA. You'd think the guy had never seen a woman before. And speaking of HLA...it got censored up here. Well, not all of it was censored, but when the man on woman violence was about to start, they cut to break. So I'm assuming it was the usual Island Boyz beat down and I didn't miss much...so who cares.

Actually, now that I think about it, that H and Spike match was a bit boring. It seemed like there was no actual wrestling going in that match. Just stalling, rest holds, some more stalling, and that weird twisting thing that Spike pulled off somewhere in the middle.

I'm glad that Vince opted to go with some nice UPW chicks to play the lesbians. Looney Lane was the brunette one and Savvy was the blonde one. Great bumps by both of them. The tag title match was great. HGH-Spike was piss-poor because HGH was trying to recreate his match with TAKA from two years ago, while at the same time trying to get over at his own expense. Booker/Goldust REALLY need to win the tag straps. RVD had better win the World title at Unforgiven, it's the only way that title will get a lick of credibility. Of course, sadly, that won't happen.

i missed the first hour, but i caught the hhh/spike match. decent, but i wasn't that entertained. everything else i saw wasn't that good. island boyz doing the usual boring 3 minute run in. i'm starting to get tired of them just like i was getting tired of brock beating down the hardyz for a million months straight. i'm starting to wish they cut to a commercial during those bits right about now too. the 4 way was pretty good, but lame that show jobs. i'm not the biggest show fan, in fact i'm not even a fan, but i'd like to see him do something decent. maybe him and johnny the bull will be a decent feud ? i sort of wanted jericho to win. didn't bother to pay attention to the booker/goldust v. regal/test match. figures there'd be a gay finish.

If he burned off that giant, blimp-sized gut, he would probably be the biggest star ever to step into the ring, but he just doesn\'t care. He\'d be in Brock Lesnar\'s boots right now, probably.

Same with Jeff Hardy. He\'s lost all the motivation to put any effort into any of his matches, and the guy obviously stopped working out long ago. He gets winded to hell in the middle of his entrance.

Jerry Lawler? I thought he was dead. After ECW died I have hardly watched any wrestling. I turned it on last night and every fucking wrestler has returned (even Golddust???) . The Undertaker is still garbage. After they got rid of Paul Bearer and his old outfit his character turned to shit. No one could even knock him down before and last time I looked he got the shit beat out of him. Eh..."wrestling" sucks now.

But anyway, I somewhat agree with you about Show and how his character could be more valuable to the product if he just gave a shit. But I also think that it's not entirely all his fault. WWE had the chance to book him as the second coming of Andre the Giant when they signed this guy, but they didn't do shit with him and jobbed him out. They knew he was a big fat guy when they signed him to a multi-million dollar deal, so they should not have been surprised with his performance and physical conditioning. Hell, if I was booked as terribly as he was, I would probably sit on my ass and eat cheeseburgers all day while cashing my millions of bucks, too.
