Raw was a bit dull tonight. It wasn't bad or anything, but it was really boring in some parts. I think I fell asleep once or twice during that main event.
Two things bugged me, though:
1. Why would they pick Kane to feud with HHH for the world strap, especially since he's tag champs with Hurricane? I sure hope this doesn't mean that they've already given up on those two as a team.
2. Why split up the Un-Americans? Those four guys are more effective together than as singles guys. Maybe it's a swerve or something.
2. I think I heard that some of the Un-Americans were in the Doghouse for refusing to shorten the length of their hair. I dunno Lance Storm is a great singles Wrestler.

I'll have to find a video of it and take a look, but the dumbfounded look and complete lack of Christian selling the reversesal is what made me think it was a botch.

Sorta like the old Spin the Wheel make the deal WCW matches.

I too fell asleep during the main event. It's not that the match was all that bad, it just bored the hell out of me after seing Smackdown last Thursday.
As for the Raw roulette wheel: Does this mean we could have two men involved in an HLA or kiss my ass match? Blech......Thank god Rikishi is on Smackdown.

Man, I never realized just how blessed Smackdown is to have time to edit their content after watching all the botches last night:
1. Orton fucking up his finisher and having to redo the WHOLE drawn-out thing. Honestly, this kid is bland, green, and can't work the mic yet. John Cena's alot more polished than this kid is on the mic and in the ring and yet HE'S the one getting the push? More idiotic booking on the RAW part...
2. Booker stuttering the "S" before giving Jericho the "SUCKAAAAAAAA!" before he hit the ring for his match against Kane.
3. Kane missing catching Jericho by the neck when he did his lionsault. The no-selling the knee which Chris worked on THE ENTIRE MATCH didn't help either. I sincerely hope the WWE has the balls to push Kane and see if he can hack it once and for all. They've been trying to do this with him for YEARS and it always ends up they either abruptly change the booking or Kane gets injured. Have him beat HHH cleanly at No Mercy (like that'll happen) and let's see if he can hack it. I'm tired of them dangling a major push for him once every 6-9 months, let's see them go all the way with it. Yeesh...

Angle vs Edge and Rey vs Benoit 2 great Smackdown matches if only Raw were this good...
Angle had me dying all night long.
"Okay, no touching, no touching." ...walks up to Benoit and punches him in the face.
"No you go first, I insist." ...Angle takes a couple steps away, turns around and punches Edge.
And then the finish of the Edge match with him hitting himself with the chair, it couldn't have been sold more hilariously.
I also had a good laugh from the "STOP WRESTLING AND TALK" sign.
