The difference is that Bart Gunn was just some tough goof. Lesnar is a 290 lbs. former NCAA heavyweight champion wrestler. If they use UFC or PRIDE type rules, Brock would have a huge advantage over Lewis.

That doesn't mean I think it's a good idea, though. The downside would be completely killing the heat of a potentially huge draw that the WWE apparently wants to push big. I still think it might be fun to see the two of them in a shoot.

Yeah, you're right, if it was a mixed martial arts type of fight, Brock would have the advantage. I mean, the only way Lewis could win that type of match would be if he somehow got Brock off his feet (haha, yeah right) and then just pounded on him until he gave up or the ref stopped it.

Edit: You know, I was just thinking, even if he did manage to get Brock off his feet, he would still be fucked. I'm sure Brock could get himself out of such a situation with a reversal of some kind. Okay, I think I've thought enough about this fictional fantasy match for tonight.

Anyone exited about the signing of Little Guido? He's an amazing worker and crusierweight. I'm sure the WWE will drop the ball with him too and have him be a glorified Jobber. I'd love to see some cruiserweight matches with him in em...

Raw may be interesting the way this whole "Katie Vick" angle develops. We shall see...

Little Guido signed with WWE? I guess he'll be treated okay as long as he ends up with the Smackdown brand. He'll probably end up wrestling up on Velocity, but that's still a big step up from working indy matches.

So, not only is Kane a murderer, but he also sexes dead people. Neat. I can't say I really enjoyed tonight's show. There weren't any really good matches to mask the second-rate stories. And I still can't tell if there's a PPV this weekend or not.

I did enjoy the IC history video, though. It would have been better if they edited out the part in the middle where they showed Owen fucking up Austin's neck. I mean, goodness, the man is dead...they shouldn't keep bringing up that one damn blemish of his career. That stuff always leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Oh, and I e-mailed Randy Orton. I basically wanted to see what the "Reply" from him would be. I'm sure it's going to be some sort of crappy spam...oh well. Here's what I wrote to him, if anyone cares:

Get well soon and good luck with ripping off the Rock's old gimmick.

i'm excited about any of the ecw guys getting a shot to (hopefully) shine. as long as the F.B.I. gimick stays. now bring around Tracy Smothers for the real F.B.I. o yeah, where's nova at ? i've only heard of him doing one dark match and that was it.

i found that to be damn funny. the angle still takes it in the ass, but the whole bit tonight was hilarious.

I think he (Nova) signed a developmental deal a few months back, so he should be on tv sooner or later.

i remember the developmental deal and the dark match that happened like a month or two back, but that was about it. the master of the kryptonite krunch should not be waiting in the wings.

they should also look into signing kid kash. i thought he was one of the better performers at the end of ecw's lifespan.

I wonder what they're gonna do with Nova now that Hurricane basically has his old gimmick. I mean, it's not the exact same gimmick, but it's close enough...

Anyone remember those cool super hero outfits Nova used to wear? I think he wore a Spider-Man one once...looked pretty cool. And then he wore a yellow and red one once...was he trying to be the Flash or something? I always thought those little extra touches were cool.
