Yeah, I've been saying it for a while now...Matt Hardy's new gimmick is great. And I'm glad he's talented enough to pull it off well.

Good Smackdown tonight. Looking back, I think I should have maybe attempted to get tickets for the show, but I was just being my normal lazy self and I didn't bother. And how about that crowd at the arena? I bet no ever thought a Canadian crowd would ever cheer for Kurt...especially with the "We want Angle" chants. Talk about fucking weird.

But anyways, that main event match was really good. I'm hoping that Angle and Benoit win those belts this sunday. And then maybe they'll have a storyline where they have mutual respect for each other and go on and defend those belts for a really long time while just putting on really kickass matches. I'd hate to see the two win those belts and then drop them because they can't get along. It would just ruin those title belts right from the start. And I see no better way to make Angle a good guy. I think the nerdy Kurt Angle heel character has run its course. Let's bring on the badass Kurt Angle already.

Yea, a decent Smackdown lastnight.

I've only bought one ppv in my entire life, but I'm really tempted to get No Mercy because of the Benoit/Angle vs. Rey/Edge match. I have a feeling that is going to turn out awesome.

ok, after last night's smackdown, i'm starting to like matt hardy. his intro had me rolling. "mattitude version 1.0" hahahaha.

anyway, i thought it was a decent show. it was better than raw, but not by too much. the headlining match was awesome, but everything else was just kinda blah.

ps - who else thinks the hell in the cell at no mercy should be barb-wired?

I agree with you, the tag tournament match is going to turn out awesome. In my opinion, Benoit and Angle vs. Rey and Edge makes the PPV a must see event.

And I will admit, I am looking forward to seeing Undertaker scream everytime he punches Brock. I just find it so amusing everytime Undertaker does that.

Great Confidental show with a nice recap of the I-C title.

So lame that the World title will be the Euro, Hardcore , I-C belt. They think less belts makes is simpiler. Whatever since not every Wrestler will be a World Champion it's important to have some other titles too. It makes it much more interesting.

A huge mistake IMO.

Funny recap of the Bossman and Big Show angle with the casket. Ha I forgot about the poem Bossman wrote. Classic.

Dammit, I missed Confidential tonight because I was busy. I guess I'll just read Gibbons' recap tomorrow, but still, I would have liked to have seen the IC title thing and the Bossman stuff.

Man, I can't believe they recapped the casket angle the one week I was busy and didn't watch.

Wow, you know things are going to be bad when there are TWO women's matches on the card. This PPV has had some spectacularly bad build-up.

I know Angle/Benoit vs. Edge/Mysterio will be awesome. How good the Hell in a Cell match will be depends on just how much Taker and Brock are willing to bump. Honestly, with how crappy the majority of the card is going to be, either Brock better F5 Taker through the top of the cage, or Taker better chokeslam Brock through it ala Mick Foley. It needs some kind of insane bump and a clean finish to really help the WWE here.

The SD tag title match will be very interesting. It's a rare situation of win-win from nearly every perspective. The fans will dig the match because it has four people in it who are over. The match will probably be a 4 star classic. And, the result really doesn't matter, because no matter who wins, great matches are sure to follow with the title defenses.
