PPV sounds pretty lame from what I've read of it.

Looks like the Rey/Edge vs. Angle/Benoit match wasn't as good as it could've been.

I didn't get a chance to watch the PPV, but from what I've read on the net this morning Rey/Edge vs. Angle/Benoit was supposed to be match of the year, and perhaps one of the best tag team matches ever (well, according to PWTorch.com, anyway). Taker vs. Brock's supposed to have been pretty decent, too. I was glad to hear that Taker put Brock over clean. My friend taped it and he's giving me the tape today, so tonight I'll see for myself how good a PPV it was.

And of course, Triple H pinned Kane. Big suprise. I like HHH and all, but the guy hasn't lost a match clean, like, ever. Well, in years, anyway.

It was a pretty good PPV overall. I was just pissed because I wanted Kane to finally have the belt, but hey, at least Benoit/Angle are the Tag Champions.

I did find it amusing that Cole and Tazz were calling them the "first ever WWE Tag Team Champions!" ...apparently the Raw belts are now merely the "World Tag Team Championships"

I do hand it to Jericho though, he made the best of a bad situation with the second rope breaking, which he uses for several moves. Too bad the announcers didn't catch on and go "OH MY GOD KING! A LIONSAULT FROM THE TOP ROPE! LOOK AT THE CARNAGE!"

I liked the PPV, overall. I dunno what internet journalists are smoking though, because the Smackdown tag title match wasn't all that great. It was good, but that sucker isn't match of the year like some people on the internet are claiming it to be. There were awkward moments where moves didn't connect well, and darn it, the match was just plain old boring in spots.

And if you really like seeing brutal and bloody matches, then that main event would have been perfect for you. I can't really say the show was worth the full cash, but it was still good...just not 35 dollars good. Maybe 25 dollars good...
