Is Normal Hard? Because I consider Normal Hard.
The only complaint I have presentation-wise is the fact that all of the crowds are realy just clones of maybe three or four different character models. Realistically though, that's probably just a result of the PS2's inferior hardware than any kind of developmental laziness.

Only complaint is some of the songs the singers sound like total crap, a lot worse than the 1st game. Especially Danzing's Mother
To be fair even Danzig sucks at singing songs. :P

I can't get through most songs on Hard without extensive woodshedding. Normal is pretty easy by comparison, but it's less time-consuming to learn and play through.
Whenever I spend any length of time practicing GH I look over at my guitar and start to feel guilty. Maybe that's why I never get that good at GH. I figure time spent practicing is better spent on my RL guitar.

Finished "Medium" last night, didn't fail a single song, averaging about 95% on everything. moving on to Expert tonight. This game is so fun.
This is exactly how I feel about video games in general. I find guitar playing a lot more rewarding than finding the last secret of any game.

My capture card has about 50ms of lag, I think. Not a problem for a game like this, but good to know.
