Well, being the fact that Xtro isn't even on IMDB's 100 worst movies list and HoTD is number 15, even without seeing Xtro(which i'll check out) HoTD is worst.

Since when was IMDB a decent measuring stick? Most of the people voting have only seen mst3k versions of films or recently released shit burgers. And Xtro was much much worse than hotd, hotd has some sort of direction and a vague outline of a plot. Xtro is such a mess in every way it's unwatchable. Women tentical raped then gives birth to a full grown man? Good run with it. Alien clown with rubber mallet? Green light it, and make sure you put a panther in the film for no reason.
