TNL Movie Club: All The President's Men

This movie has to deal with the Watergate scandal. What makes this movie so special to me is that they show exactly what journalists must go through in order t ocrack a story. A lot of ethical questions are asked and questionable methods are used in order to get information in one of the biggest stories of the 20th century. Enjoy.

This is one of those movies that I was forced to watch back in high school, and as such I fucking hated it, I literally fell asleep. But I watched it again a few months ago, and it is a lot better now that I am old enough to appreciate it.

I also recommend Battle of Algiers to learn the futility of killing terrorists to stop terrorism. It doesn't work and the French found that out a long time ago. It's a shame our government is apparently unable to learn from history.

Yeah that's a great movie also, the Criterion print is fantastic, but you pay for the quality.

The scene where the kid looks at the chick before she blows up the place is heartbreaking.
