Kelpie is in, Old Willow is out.
There's a new spell (I think) called Quicksand that grants a temporary OW-like effect.
But as I've always said, OW/Kelpie are for noobs.
Are Old Willow and Kelpie still around? The CPU always fell for them, every last time.

My first match online my old man turned off the router because he was going to bed and didn't think I was online, so I got booted and fucked up everybody's game. The 2nd match took like 3 hours, the guy in 4th place dropped, and I got a distant 3rd.
The reverant card is cheap as fuck. First hit + paralysis + turn into a vampire. I've seen 2 people use that card so far.

Holy Christ, Coliseum III pissed me off pretty bad. Havent been that close to breaking my controller in half for a while. Lost it twice. First time I just got owned. Second time, I was one roll away from winning it, when I randomly lost real estate then landed on the goofy bitch's 1920G spot. That fight is not a short one (I mean more than 2 hours?! wtf). At least you get some kind of cards, even for losing.
And what are the prereqs for getting the Super Rares? I've only gotten like 3 normal rares so far...
I got this yesterday, and even though I didn't get home until very late, I had to try one battle before I went to bed. I lost miserably.
It was like the deck was totally stacked against me. My opening hand had two characters and a bunch of spells/items. FOR THE NEXT EIGHT ROUNDS I DIDN'T GET ONE CHARACTER CARD. That bitch owned every land and made me cry. Real Tears. At least she won before I got magic depleted.
So I couldn't just quit the game after such a horrid loss. So I refought her after adding in all the chara cards I got from losing, and went on to own the bitch. In the final round, I had enough G to win when I reached the halfway checkpoint. The bitch dropped a "slow" on me, then she kept landing on my heavy hitters. By the time I reached the end, she had magic depleted twice, and I had over 10,000 G.
I can't wait to get home.
Just a reminder to any newbs reading this thread.
Never quit a game even when you're losing horribly. No matter how poorly you do, win or lose, you will always receive new cards at the end. So if you get reamed on something like Coliseum III, it's best to just let the AI players fight amongst themselves, get up, make a sandwich, do whatever until the game reaches its bitter end.
A brief note regarding rules revisions: scroll attacks now have penetration by definition, even if it doesn't say so on their card text. I scored a nice little win because of this. Never underestimate scrolls.

Well, I dont think I have much of a deck yet, but would anyone here be up for a few 2v2 matches online tomorrow sometime?
I'd be down. I've never done an alliance match or a blind match yet. I bet they'd be pretty fun.
Although something's fucked with the invite to game option. It's always greyed out for me.
I talked to a friend on the phone suggesting he should buy this game and play it online with me and he said, "I'd only play that game if I were single."
