If she has any, I really hope Perrin Kaplan's kids are making fun of her right now for defending this name like the corporate drone she is (reading her blathering comments in Matt's weekly "Nintendo Minute" is like mental anemia). "Haha, mom. Gonna go to work today and defend the wii-wii-pee-pee name for your bosses?! Durrr. Hey mom, you're right, maybe Yahoo should be re-named "YaPoo?!"
Seriously, only Nintendo could start to do something so right with the DS and Revolution's respective mature concepts of bridging the gameplay gap between kids, adults and even elderly people......and THEN they completely shoot all that well earned marketing goodwill in the face by bridging it with a name that any logical person can see will spawn endless urination jokes.
Not saying I'm not gonna look past this and am still looking forward to the games, but man. What an awful move marketing wise. This is brand name death incarnate.
