This one will be exclusive to the Wii.

I was thinking more of, we. As in, a group of more than one persons, including the speaker.

Anyways, I will tell you how japanese will pronounce Wii, incorrectly. Thier kata tells them to make a sound that over half of them can't make to begin with. Maybe you will get Woo-ii or something like that after a bit.

    TNL's pretty Woo-ii already IMO.

  5. Maybe they should have called it the Nintendo Pupu. It means "shell" or "appetizers" in Hawaian, and "bunny" in Finnish. In Latvian it means "beans."

    Mmmmm... pupu platter...

  7. This is such a stupid name. It really is. And it's gonna turn away the rednecks because of its Frenchiness. Nintendo Freedom would be better. Or maybe Friidom.

GameCube was a good name IMO.

  8. ....This thread is still going?

  9. No.

If you turn Wii upside down, you get !!M or M!!, which may not mean anything, but maybe it does, or possibly not.

This is what I want. And I also kind of doubt it's true really. Replace "rednecks" with "idiots" for people that won't buy a console solely because the name seems too "Frenchy."

I agree Gamecube was a perfectly good name. I think I said this already, but I don't love the name Wii per se, I just like that it isn't a generic "Boom Box" "Super Crusher" videogame console name. I think Nintendo is smart to call it something different in its effort to branch out.
