Were you all not paying attention or something? I've known about this "twist" for a long ass time, and there's been plenty of evidence of it shown in trailers and such.

The PS3 version has slightly better A.I.

I thought it was actually shown in some of the first footage released of the game. It's the earliest thing I can remember hearing about the game.

The first footage ended with a bit of sci-fi, but it wasn't explained, and Jade Raymond was all coy about it, but Kristen Bell said it was all about racial memory, and memories held in people's genes.
