I'm sure AC is pretty decent in all truth, but the marketing money poured into this thing totally overshadows what the game actually is.

I hate it whenever people rate stuff based on its marketing or hype. Was kind of humorous to see Halo 3 reader reviews with people saying, "I think this game is a 7/10, but I'm giving it a 0 because it's not worthy of the hype," but they really need to get over themselves.

Good, now I don't need to buy this. Immediately at least. Taking a week off from buying a game means my wallet is slightly more happy. But my 360 is slightly more sad.

What I'm saying, is that certain outlets were "paid" to "review the game better". Which seems to be a pretty common method of game marketing.
