Okay, thanks.
The PS3 version is generally considered the glitchier one and some of the issues have been addressed (supposedly):

also achievements noob.
PS3 version has a significantly worse frame rate on average. I played both.
So director's cut is out, and miraculously doesn't suck. It's almost like Ubi gave a shit about doing a decent PC port this time.
Except that it doesn't support the analog triggers on Xbox 360 controllers and you have to go through like 7 menus to exit the game. But big fucking deal.
It actually performs well. My CPU is well below the "required" minimum and it runs comparably to the 360 version anyway, so I think they were a little generous with the requirements printed. Load times are barely there (faster than the console ports), and masked by those little limbo parts, just like the console version. Looks good, haven't encountered any glitches... It's actually a good port.
Now if it's a good game, I haven't decided yet.

Way to go Ubi (so far).
I picked this up a month ago but just started playing today. I love it so far. I heard it gets repetitive, but since I'm still doing stuff for the first time it's been awesome. If it doesn't get any better from here they missed a huge opportunity because everything is there to make this a great game. I'm hoping for some serious PoP style platforming sections to come. Right now I'm running around the poor area of Damascus.

you are going to be disappointed then
not that it's bad, but because there really isn't PoP gameplay
