Yeah, I have the Scarface set. I don't really think there's much more on this new set coming out that really makes it worth re-buying.

I have the old Fox Video VHS's too but they're full screen. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen the theatrical original trilogy in widescreen, which is the main point of me wanting these new DVDs. That and the SE Return of the Jedi, to me, is really annoying.

Lucas is going to try and juice this franchise for all he can isn't he? Seriously, if he's done w/Star Wars release every movie w/all the bells and whistles and be done. At the same time he could release all the movies together as a "discounted" box set and be done. But nooooo, we now have the second coming of these films.

On that topic, did anyone buy the 20th Anniversary Scarface a few years ago? I did and guess what, there's another new one coming out in October. That's a 3 year turn-around. WTF, I mean, did they just stumble on some new footage?

Seriously, he gave us what we want, but he did it in a way to make sure we know, he's the boss, he owns the films, and doesn't have to give us jack sh$% if he doesn't want to.

Usually, I could care less about crap like this if I really want something, but I cannot do non-anamorphic today, sorry but I didn't just drop 1500 on a new LCD to watch the same SWs I did as a kid. You'll get my money once it hits HD-DVD or whatever else he puts it on, remastered and anamorphic.

What they don't get is that while this is a character that they "look up to" because of his rise from poverty to having whatever he wants, it was the source of that rise that also caused his fall. He lost everything. Why would you want him to be your "hero"?
