Shouldn't the title of this thread be: Former CIA agent owns Rumsfeld? I dunno man it looked like he was shitting his pants for a moment until he managed to change the subject. McGovern told him straight, "these are your words". To which he recieved no reply. Tense.
I did chuckle a bit when Rumsfeld said "I am not in the intelligence business".

I can't say Rumsfeld is a bad guy. He and his wife come into the restaurant fairly often and they are wonderful people.

As reported on Olbermann today, everything McGovern attributed to Rumsfeld was actually said by Rumsfeld. So, unless "tearing down" means "lying about what you said before to CYA", then yes, Rumsfeld did tear down said ex-CIA Agent.
