  1. Fun with CIA: Round I: RUMMY vs. MCGUVVY - Round II: NEGROPONTE vs. GOSS

Previous title: Rumsfeld Tears Down Yet Another Whiney Far-left Bed-wetting Liberal Ex-CIA Agent

This video is live coverage of a Defence speech in Atlanta. What you do not see is before the video starts three protestors escorted from the building during Rumsfeld's speech. Then it is Q & A time. Mr McGovern is picked for questioning. During the video you hear clapping when guards go to take this man away too, yet Rummy graciously allows this heathen to stay.

  2. Shouldn't the title of this thread be: Former CIA agent owns Rumsfeld? I dunno man it looked like he was shitting his pants for a moment until he managed to change the subject. McGovern told him straight, "these are your words". To which he recieved no reply. Tense.
I did chuckle a bit when Rumsfeld said "I am not in the intelligence business".

I can't say Rumsfeld is a bad guy. He and his wife come into the restaurant fairly often and they are wonderful people.

  3. Yeah... I think McGovern won that one.

Yeah, great... try to drag away because he is asking questions you don't like, and know are true. Wonderful leadership we've got here.

Isn't that what people always say about the serial murderer that lived next door?

    Frightening.

Also, I finally finished reading 1984 over the spring break. Crazy man, crazy.
"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."

  6. As reported on Olbermann today, everything McGovern attributed to Rumsfeld was actually said by Rumsfeld. So, unless "tearing down" means "lying about what you said before to CYA", then yes, Rumsfeld did tear down said ex-CIA Agent.

If shitting all over the military and forging ahead on a foolish "revamping" plan, leaving the Army dangerously unequipped for conflict and causing the deaths of thousands of American soldiers doesn't make you a bad guy, what does?

  7. Rumsfield stood there like an idiot for a good six seconds or so without any reply and was only saved by security attempting to remove the guy. The only thing that got "teared down" here was his weak-ass.

  10. I'm less disturbed by Rumsfeld than I am by the notion that anyone can think what McGovern did was wrong.
