300 is the limit I will spend on a game console so Untill the PS3 hits that no purchase from me, same with the Premium pack with the HDD for the 360

As much as you all hate the price point that doesn't stop the fact that this thing will sell out day one and be impossible to find until after X-Mas.


There will be no 360 price drop. That I do believe. I can see them dropping the core pack for sure though. 360 will sell more than Xbox just based on the fact its actually cheaper hardware than the competition.

I also seen NOTHING that cant be done on 360 IMO. Which kinda sucks. I wanted to see something mind blowing.

I could afford it, its still a shitload of money, I would never spend that type of bread on a console.

I don't blame anyone for not spending that kind of money on videogames. But didn't you drop that much on a PC that only sees 5 good games a year and will be obsolete in 3?

I'm just telling the truth - they'll sell every unit they make, and the games looked nicer than anything that's been shown for anything, anywhere.

Games just looking nicer doesn't equal spending $500-$600. Will they sell out? Sure. Few are saying they won't. Many are saying they won't buy it for that price. I'm bummed about the pricing, as I was looking forward to getting one at some point near launch. Sony prices themselves right out of that being a possibility. Now I'll wait for the price to drop and for its lineup to be worth spending money on.
