As much as I really, really want to be able to play MGS4, this shit is unacceptable. If Nintendo lets us down as well, I'm thinking it might be time to consider a new hobby.

Funny, up until this I thought $60 games were the worst thing to deal with. I can't believe Sony actually managed to news that was far worse than my already-low expectations. Seeing the controller pic was just another kick in the balls on top of it. Fuck this shit.

Just to put things in perspective a bit, while Sony certainly did make a lot of blunders as far as announcements, and how they presented their conference, at the end of the day they did still show quite a few very impressive looking titles:

I wish all the cool fucking games (Tekken, Katamari, MGS, Final Fantasy, Gradius, R-Type, Virtua Fighter, etc) didn't come out just for Sony systems.

I really don't want Sony to get my dollars, but I really want games in those franchises. At least fucking Smackdown is coming out for 360.

What makes Microsoft any more worthy of your money than Sony, if you're worried about who recieves your dollars?

I've only broken 1 Xbox in my time. I've broken 3 PSones and 3 PS2s so far though. They also insisted on making me buy memory cards for the last 2 generations. My PSP has shitty load times and terrible camera control in games that still cost 50 dollars. I had to buy a modem. I had to buy a hard drive, which was then never supported. More games came out on PS2 (weakest hardware) than Xbox and GC combined. I used to have to buy a PS2 version of an EA game if I wanted to play it online (SSX3, I'm looking at you) Online on PS2 sucked. etc. etc.

Not that Xbox never had any problems mind you, but that's why i have bad blood with Sony.

Why is everyone hating on the PS3 controller BTW? It looks like the PS2 controller, and I thought everyone liked that.
