What really peeved me though was the huge plot whole in the game with them ignoring PW1 case 5 of even existing.

Remember that PW2 was released on gba long before PW1 was re-released on DS. What you should be complaining about is how they didn't cleanly work case 5 into the pre-existing continuity.

I picked this up yesterday at Best Buy for 30 bucks. So far I love it. I just finished chapter 1 and things are progressing nicely. For anyone who played Trace Memory it has the same type of questions at the end of the chapter which I think is a nice touch.

There isn't enough discussion about this game here. I'm like 4 hours in or so and just started Chapter 2. This is the kind of game the DS needs more of. It's a vast improvement over everything they did in Trace Memory (which I also really liked just was way too short). If you haven't checked this game out yet then you really need to. Anyone who was/is a fan of old school PC adventure games like Quest for Glory, King's Quest, Day of the Tentacle, etc I think is going to really like this game. While it doesn't have the humor of those other games it's really well done and so far the story has been pretty good.

I picked this up the other day, and I'm having a blast with it...I'm only about two hours in though. Some of the dialogue portions of the game drag on a bit longer than they need to, but I love the atmosphere of the game so far.
