I've never purchased a Metal Gear game or played one for more than 10 minutes. That goes all the way back to the NES.

Could you make my day and tell me that if you were to like Metal Gear, you would have made a point that this should have been on a console?

I dunno, as huge a fan of the series as I am, I'm kind of leery about this one. I hope it turns out great, and it does seem impressive, but at the same time, compared to the series' pedigree, it seems a bit sloppy. I'll still buy it, however, for I am a whore.

Im also looking forward to this game. This seems like its the story I thought MGS3 was suppose to be with the telling of how Boss became the bad guy. I was disappointed in MGS 3 when it didnt tell us what the hell happend to him. Also, this is the game that should have been out instead of the Acid games.

Been getting solid 9+ reviews.

One interesting aspect of the online portion is that you can actually wager your troops on the outcome of the battle. Whoever wins takes a guy from the loser. This is optional, of course; you can play matches without the wager.
