Thread: Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

  1. I'll probably end up trading in FEAR and Children of Mana. holler pls.

  2. A+++++ will holler

  3. I think I'm pretty interested, after this thread.

    and castlevania, too, damn.

  4. Here's some more info from the 1up review:
    Multiplayer feels a lot like MGS3: Subsistence's multiplayer, with the notable exception that you can lose soldiers. If you play Virtual Combat, then no worries. But Real Combat means that when your soldiers get taken out, your opponent can snag and remove them from your memory stick -- of course, you can do the same to his. Other ways to move characters around include straight-up trading (MGS Pokémon!), scanning for and downloading them from Wi-Fi hot spots (my wireless router created Donkey, a soldier/nutritionist), using the PSP's GPS attachment (should that ever come out in America) to also find and download, or the bizarre Cyber-Survival mode. If I understand it right, Cyber-Survival means you send a squad out into the Internet, and on its own, the squad fights matches in order to gain rank and allies. I'm assuming they fight other Cyber-Survival squads, which means that in a very frightening (yet awesome) way, your soldiers are actually playing multiplayer matches without you.

  5. I'll make this shit happen today.

  6. what comes with the special edition? Does it have an art book or any extra art from ashley wood?
    look here, upon a sig graveyard.

  7. I think it's just a psp case.

  8. the case was a pre-order bonus.

    this is hot, btw.

  9. I predict this will come out for PS2 in 6 months, like the GTA games do.

  10. It'd be awesome, but I honestly wouldn't expect it. Acid already would've.
