Yes, I'm saying that the titles would have sold 10x more if they were on a system anyone actually owned. The games themselves were good, especially RE4.Originally Posted by ElCapitan

You're talking about PS2 then, because the Xbox and GameCube were very, very close in sales. Since MS has already completely dropped the Xbox, the GameCube will likely go down as #2 this generation in fact.
All true, the best fit for the games were PS2, but Xbox versions probably would have sold more in the US, compare the two system's audience and all will be known.Originally Posted by Yoshi
The GC was by far the worst platform for RE exclusivity.
Yet re4 on the PS2 sold worse than the one on the cube. Go figure.
Sega should release Virtua Cop as well; for the Wii.

If they came out on the same day I would say you have a point.Originally Posted by avatar
It would also work well for games like Wild Guns (SNES) where the characters' movement is limited to a single horizontal axis while still having the ability to move a targeting cursor anywhere on the screen.Originally Posted by Bacon
Unfortunately, it seems like Natsume is too busy milking their Harvest Moon cash cow to bother making another Wild Guns(ish) game.
That's a moot point. The PS2 version came out on a console with a much higher userbase(right before christmas) after months of the GC version winning awards, acclaim,etc..Originally Posted by diffusionx
RE4 didn't sell like GTA on the cube. It's probably around 1.2 million. Still the PS2 version didn't catch up. RE wasn't killed by the cube. it was killed by a ton of pointless games being released over and over draining the franchise like fucking leeches.(Outbreak,Zero,etc..)
Doesnt a game have to make money to be considered a cash cow?Originally Posted by wEEman33
