Y'know...I'm not going to defend the voice acting much, because it isn't anywhere near great, but I think overall it isn't bad. Admittedly, there are 1 or 2 characters who are flat out terrible, but the other VAs range from acceptable to good IMO. I do wish it was overall a tad better though. Who in particular do you guys think is bad or the worst? I think the 4 main leads are overall pretty good, it's the side characters that get dicey.

Scott is the best. Norman(Nahman) is questionable. Ethan is odd, he starts off ok and gets worse as the game goes on. Madison is alright too.

Shaun was saved, Jaden stopped Scott from shooting Ethan in the back, Jaden isn't a junkie, Madison, Ethan and Shaun started a family w/ a new apartment. Seemed alright. Lauren was pissed.

I was talking more on the fact that the game flat out lies to you the whole time in exchange for the "huge twist". There are so many issues with Shelby as the killer. Why is he investigating any of this? Why is he acting as a concerned detective in his "L2" inter-thoughts? Why is he risking his life and threating to kill people accusing them to be the killer or that their son is the killer? The biggest for me is that they take you out of the character for ~15 seconds, so Scott can conveniently kill somebody without you knowing! This all could have be passable if they went the multiple personality route or something, but a huge turn wasn't necessary. The game would have been good enough without it.

Well depending on how you played him you could have either killed all of the loose ends (Kramer - no pills, the shopkeep - Let the robber shoot him, and Lauren - drown her in the car) or collected all of the evidence and burnt them at the end, once the reveal occured I thought back to how the clues were there but you never cast doubt on him because you were TOLD he was a PI.

Just finished. I thought it was brilliant. Certainly some plot holes but I can't complain.

I lost Jayden though -- fell to his death fighting Shelby on the conveyor belt. Man I botched that fight. Can I simply replay that final mission to get the 4 character survive trophy?

I played Deadly Premonition and this game in tandem, and I enjoyed the former much, much more. And I enjoyed Heavy Rain.
