Mmkay, equating videogame soundtrack fidelity with spousal abuse, that seems entirely reasonable and reeks not at all of you being a drama queen.
Are there even a a signifigant number of fully orchestrated soundtracks being made in the industry? Not many come to mind, let alone ones where it delivered a more memorable soundtrack because of it. Why are you raking a company through the coals for not delivering on a standard that hardly exists in the first place?

Nintendo's midi soundtracks wouldn't be so bad if they ever updated their sample library. As it stands, all of the samples sound like they're out of 1997 or something. Twilight Princess was a particularly painful example of this.
Yeah, honestly I can't remember any standout tracks from TP off the top of my head. But on the flip side, I can immediately recall several standout tracks from Mario Sunshine and Wind Waker that sounded exceptional and emulated real instruments and voices uncannily (Dragon Roost Island, Mario A Capella), so I don't know what happened there.
