480p != jaggies. 480p upscaled to 768p or something may very well introduce some jagginess. SMG looks fine to me.

He was noticing that SMG in particular looked jaggy. I tried to explain why that might be the case since the game itself isn't inherently filled to the brim with jaggies.

I have just about all the stars so I can finally make some conclusive comments.
Galaxy reminds me of Futurama in the sense that its setting allows it to throw rules out the window and this keeps the game fresh because of its variety. This and the true 3D feeling the game gives you are its greatest strengths. It isn't the best use of the Wii but it is the best Wii game and high on the list of best Mario games.
