Apparently in the interview he stated Sony and MS have a standard for High-definition in their new consoles, so it sounds like this effectively screws any 2D artwork games for the systems, maybe collections would be a exception? I somehow doubt ethier company is going to turn down another Namco Musuem or Street Fighter Collection and piss off their big developers. *-neo
Hopefully a 360/PS3 Namco Museum will get a more ambitious selection with games like Rave Racer, Star Blade, Galaxian 3, Nebulasray, Lucky & Wild, Rolling Thunder 2, etc. The interlaced blur-o-vision found in the PS2 NM needs to go.
The next SF Collection to come out should be the whole series (SF1, all SFIIs, all SFIII's, and the Alphas) on one disc. I'd be willing to pay $60 or even $70 to have the entire shebang served up in this manner.
Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)
