I have a mate who recently sold his domain for 5 figures. He bought it about 9 years ago for a few hundred bucks.
The funny thing is, it ended up as an official community site for a popular band, and was listed in their 5 albums and 1 live DVD liner notes - and now it's a porn portal lololol.
