Thread: How to get rid of Acne.

  1. I take 30mg of Oxycodone a day. Helps with acne

  2. I use the Clean and Clear brand stuff when I need to, seems to work great. I also started using different laundry detergent.

    Also bought this stuff:

Works pretty good, but not sure if it works better than regular OTC stuff.

Yea, antibiotics help with acne. Because they kill germs.

I use this "Murad" shit they sell in Sephora. My gf turned me on to it. It is like the ProActive they sell on TV. It's a good face cleaner and I use it.
Fuck, that's not it. I couldn't remember the name and just looked in the acne.org page for something that sounded good. I meant salicylic acid, which you'll find in most cleansers. All it did was irritate and dry my skin out.

I used to use Neutrogena Deep Clean, which had salicylic acid in it. While it did do a good job, it was not fool proof. I would still get the occasional break outs, and it would do nothing from preventing them from turning into full blown puss filled warts. Ugh, I hated that shit.

I really don't follow the website's advice at all (what the hell, let the shit dry out on your face? And he wonders why it gunks up when he sweats.), but switching to benzoyl peroxide from tetracycline really helped me out.
When you let it dry on your face, it hardens creating a layer of protection. At least that is how it feels to me.

Speaking of Proactiv, the acne.org site has some interesting info on it. Apparently they are on the right track, but they're not quite there yet.

If this one were true, I would have been one of those people with an "acme mask" in HS.

Guilty as charged. I touch myself all the time. When I was reading this I was resting my hands on my face.
You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.
