I don't really care about the Wii price. Something for me is either desirable or not and the price is secondary. I was enthusiastic about the controller until I saw it wasn't an improvement over what we have already.
I'm telling you, Nintendo is really picking up the peices this generation.

I think something is better than nothing, or a demo disc. I remember when Sega first started selling the Game Gear, you could send in the UPC with receipt and get a game mailed to you from a list. With all the internet registering the do nowadays, why couldn't one register their system online, then choose a game from a list?Originally Posted by Geen
There will almost definitely be a pack in. Nintendo's gonna wanna show what makes the Wii different, they'll probably pack in Wii sports.
PSN = knarlockk
Steam= kevinb150
Wii seems like something you'd have to be convinced is good before you buy it. A pack-in would be like preachin to the choir no?Originally Posted by kbuchanan
A pack-in gives the perception that you're getting something for your money. I buy a 360 and still have to spend money to play games. I buy a Wii and have a game to play without spending extra cash. Sort if like buying a razor and getting a free blade with it. They know you'll need to purchase more blades later anyways.Originally Posted by amitavc
