Several kids at my school got cars. New cars. I know of two girls getting those newer Mazda sportsy sedans, and both are girls with prior records for drinking and driving and/or wrecking vehicles. Graduation gifts are a little out of hand. I was in the top 10% and all that fun honors shit, and I didn't expect some amazing gift of a computer or anything from my family. I lucked out, since my extended family sent me small checks that just added up. Not gonna turn that down, but realistically, I doubt I'm going to go all-out if the time comes to give someone else a graduation gift. It's a silly tradition. Graduating college is a hell of a lot more honorable, that's when it should be more common to get monetary gifts and all that.

Just got back from Boston over the weekend and when I got home yesterday after work, I got the packages. I opened both up.

Short version from what I have seen so far:

Pacific Design: Just a normal case with magnetic clasps in the back to let you access UMD door. Nice protection. Smells like new sneakers too! Holds 1 UMD on the flap cover

Blaze Pro Audio: BIG and I mean BIG! Its thick as hell. Uses 4 AAA batteries. Sound is very very nice. No static or distortion and pretty loud. Acts as a stand for movies. Flip doesnt fold all the way back. ON/OFF switch and Volume UP/DOWN on the cover.

The Pro Audio's review will come later as I need more time with it. Pacific Design is similar to all other cases. Its kinda like this.. http://www.dcemu.co.uk/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=23648. If you're interested in the Pacific Design, I'll sell it after I'm done reviewing it. comes in its package and everything. BTW, the picture above is the same color (red/black)

lol I'm just getting vintage jams, not this new shit.

Long story short I'm taking down my .hack shit, keeping up my Chernabog / Nightmare LE Pin Sets that are framed, putting up 4 Attraction posters. Tomorrowland, Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Carribbean. I'ma frame them up and it'll look hot.

At least 50x better than anime.
