Thread: Robot Chicken FF7 parody

  1. Robot Chicken is funny. Go jerk off to mad tv fag.

  2. Family Guy has it's fair share of "real" jokes too. I like 'em both (although I've been very disappointed in this season of FG).

  3. I see where Saint is coming from- pop culture humor can be teh funny, but it's usually lazy as fuck and it gets dated real fast. When it comes to shows like Family Guy or the Shrek or Scary Movie movies, in ten years no one will get the jokes.

Robot Chicken gets a pass from me, however. It's TOYS! Stop motion fucking animated TOYS! The references are actually clever, and they mix in some actual legit jokes here and there. Anyone who doesn't like this show...well, Hubbitron said it best two posts above.

  4. The Star Wars one was okay. The FF7 thing was mediocre at best and although ToyFare's MEGO skits are great the Real World one was lame.

It seems like with the time they spent making the music and the clay models, the video would have been shorter. Whatever. I still laughed when the meteor destroyed the building.

  6. Eh, actually I thought the FF7 parody was pretty weak. The guy in line that was glitching direction changes was the funniest part.

"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."

  8. I was earlier this week, actually.

  9. Oddly enough, the one and only time I tuned in to Robot Chicken it was this exact skit. I didn't know this show was that funny.

This isn't the Family Guy thread, moron. GTFO.
    Time for a change
