I just got done Ratatouille, seeing the 1:30 show. I loved the whole thing, even the draggy bits. It's my favorite movie this summer so far, and I have a hard time imagining that changing.

I saw it last night. It was fantastic. Best Pixar movie by a lot. This and 300 are this years tops so far. Hot Fuzz was good too.

I really enjoyed the story of this, it actually had depth and it was pretty damn funny at parts. Quite a few adult references though, like 'getting messy with the bosses daughter' and the part where the girl is trying to shoot the guy.

Also, the grandma at the start... that entire character model is from some other Pixar movie. I've seen her before.

I caught the late show last night. I thoroughly enjoyed it, if other studios put even half the effort pixar puts into it's movies, we wouldn't have trash movies like the ant bully or (shudders) doogal. There have been a few that I thought were decent enough that weren't made by pixar like madagascar, the wild (though that was mainly because of eddie izzard, probably would have hated it if he wasn't in it) but the only one that comes close to pixar quality was the original shrek, and only in how much it made me laugh, pixar's animation is still way better
