Gamefaqs? That's a news source now?
Read the thread, it's not just some kid making up a rumor.
And yeah, I actually do get most of my news there. Why wade through 15 sites hoping they'll have something on the games I'm interested in when I can just check the boards devoted to those games on the most heavily-used VG site there is?
Apparently the new OXM says we're getting 8 characters... though oddly enough, half are villains. I see two possibilities there: either they're being lazy and just making some of the enemies playable, or these are going to be villains that for whatever reason didn't get invited into Doom's conspiracy. If it's the former, they'd better at least include Doom himself; if it's the latter, I think Venom and Magneto are pretty safe bets.
When?
Will you play with him again when he comes back to life?
BTW, I want the sequel to this game to have all villains as the playable characters. And you have to take over the world while the heroes try to stop you. That would be some cool shit.

DLC revealed?:Well... that lineup's a little weird. And damn, ten bucks?!Gamedaily BIZ had an article about the DLC that was up for a bit before it suddenly was pulled off the site, luckily myself and several other people at Jinxworld message board saw the article and it reads as such.
Marvel Ultimate Downloadable Content
Hulk strongest one there is!
Activision today announced its plans to release Marvel: Ultimate Alliance downloadable content on Xbox Live Marketplace with new heroes and villains. The eight new characters are the Incredible Hulk, Magneto, Hawkeye, Sabretooth, Doctor Doom, Cyclops, Nightcrawler and Venom. The Hero Pack and Villain Pack will separately be 500 Microsoft points, the Combined Hero and Villain Pack will be 800 Microsoft points, and individual gamer pic packs will be 80 Microsoft points each.
"The signature gameplay of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance has made it a favorite among fans, as well as the best-selling Super Hero game on the Xbox 360 to-date," said Rob Kostich, vice president of global brand management, Activision. "By adding some of the biggest names in the Marvel Universe to the roster we're enabling Xbox 360 gamers to build a variety of all-new teams and enjoy the epic action in brand new ways."
The question is did MS force them to take it down or was the article incorrect?
