Thing is, online play with this game is a mixed bag. Every time I got together with four people, the connection would crap out after a few levels. If one of the four people gets disconnected, the online game ends for the other three (or so it would seem).
I tried playing 2-player the other day and it was slow as hell for the both of us.
I will be all over this DL content though. The new achievements are sweet, but the fact that they added new dialogue, plot points, and even changed the script makes it more than worth it.
The game only ends for everyone if the host is disconnected. It sounds like Melf shouldn't host.
Puerto Rico's "broadband" is laff at best. My cousin couldn't even download over 20 kb/s on it.
Nope, it's happened a few times, even when my connection was fine. I've played some four-player TMNT and it was fine.
I've had MUA games crap out even when I wasn't hosting, in two and four-player games, but yeah, I think I was when everyone got kicked at the same time. The online in this game is just bad, imo.
Dude, there's more than one company here. That's bad even for PR.
Melf: Ah, well either way - I am looking forward to playing with ya again. I have a bunch of new stuff on my 360 plate that I wanna complete too.
DLC achievements revealed... and they kinda suck. One per new character for unlocking all their costumes, four for triggering various new plot events which look like they all boil down to "have character X in your team at moment Y"... and that's it.
True. That's what pissed me off so much about the achievements in Earth Defense Force 2017. They could have given us an achievement for destroying the mothership, killing the ant queen, etc. Instead we got generic "do the same thing five times" shit.
The new achievements for MUA have already been added to its summary on Live. I can't wait to get the combo pack this Tuesday!
