There is truth to this. The Life Aquatic is funnier and more emotionally engaging than ND. The scene with the shark is so strangely sad.

I would say Napoleon Dynamite is worth seeing, even pretty funny in parts, but I grew to hate it after an endless stream of quotes/immitation. I don't really blame the movie, I more just blame the people. God, fucking college students, Jesus.

I thought ND was mildly funny in a retarded sort of way. But my mild amusement soon evaporated when I saw vote for pedro shirts and other stupid shit.
