You should have acted
It's only inconvenient if they fail to explain it in the Captain America movie. Since the Avengers movie is likely to be based in current day, its not that illogical to place him in Antarctica rather than the Arctic, as by now the Arctic is no longer the unknown wasteland it used to be. Yes ok we don't know every detail, but Antarctica is much more remote in comparison. Plus maybe they want to avoid a Global Warming tie in, "Oh hey look, thanks to global warming Captain America is back, hurray lets melt everything and see what's up there"
It would be so gay if Cap comes back due to global warming.
