Newish indy/arthouse detective flick staring Joseph Gordon Levitt of 3rd Rock. As a fan of the genre it looks good to me. Anyone see it? Of course it'll never come to Japan, but I will be watching it shortly *nudge, nudge*

Yeah, i saw the trailer a while ago, and i thought it looked pretty rad. Don't be dissuaded by the fact that its got the kid from 3rd rock in it, Joseph Gordon Levitt is a great actor.

Just watched it. It was brilliant. If you like noir, it's classic and modern at the same time. I won't give away any plot details but it's better to avoid the official site before viewing and try to figure out the dialogue jargon for yourself.

Joseph Gordon Levitt is a total badass in it.

Empire gave this an unprecedented primary review spot and did a big feature on it in the same issue. The trouble is they kept comparing it to that Donnie Darko trash.
