Yes, I played one and three I don't consider new environments and some new baddies impressive for a sequel. That's why I stopped playing ratchet and clank, and sly, etc.

finch - yeah, i enjoyed command mission a lot. i never got around to finishing it, though. + X8 is really good. much better than the last....like....2 x games. 5 and 6. oh...wait...i'm forgetting about 7. i still haven't played that one, though.

It's not worth playing unless you just HAVE to finish every Megaman game. I kind of like Axl.

^__^ We can't stop, Eckusu-kun! We left harem anime and the 90's six years ago! The cool thing now is retarded humor and nonsensical stories that never really go anywhere.
I don't know where this should be going, but just like the 70's, 80's, and 90's, there's only a little bit that's good. Still, there is that little bit that's good. I like manga much better anyway.

well, there weren't just new bad guys. it took a while to get into (it's one of the longest bn games next to 4 and 2 i think) but if you stuck with it there was just so much more that you could do...especially compared to the 1st game. i think i spent about 90 something ours on it total. maybe i maxed out the clock.

i think i mentioned this before but i skipped right over bn2 'cause i thought the first game was a complete bore. and it really was.

honestly, though....as the series progressed some of the quests/missions and story parts became extremely annoying. i remember while playing bn3 feeling that the internet/areas were too big. and you went on so many fetch quests to progress the story. bn4 was at the hight of bn annoyance 'casue you had to beat the game 3 times with increasing dificulty levels before getting all the souls/abilities. i played through 2wice, started up the 3 time (a few months ago) and just gave up on it. i have 1 more soul to get but....blah...i kinda don't wanna bother.

For me If they don't have anything real to add I don't mind if they don't make a sequel. Somethings are better left alone. I like most games (that aren't sports) but I'm a sucker for star wars and marvel so I guess I'm guilty when it comes to them.
Back to battlenetwork I flat out gave up on three because I was bored out of my skull played about twenty hours too.

Picked up and played a little of 6 today. It's not too bad. I don't like the new charas as much, so far anyway. They're kind of Digimon Season 2. I need more time, but i can see the improvements. MM seems to move a little faster and charging takes no time at all.

i beat bn 6 last night. my ending time was 29 hours and 1 minute. i'll start up another thread with impressions soon.

*edit* I liked command mission too, but the story was boring as hell but the fights were cool.
