This comes out everywhere on Friday. There's a screening tomorrow and I managed to snag a few free passes so I'm going to try to hit that up. Has anyone seen it yet? I think it's been out in a few cities for a while now.
i cant wait!!!!!!!!!
I saw a sneak preview for this last week and intended to make a thread for this but i'm a lazy bastard.
Pretty much if you loved eternal sunshine you will LOVE this movie. This is the best movie i've seen all year it's random yet touching it's hard to explain this movie but I prefer it over enternal sunshine. And you get to see the big hands in action.
Yet another awesome movie that won't come to my movie theatre. So far this year I missed out on Clerks 2, A Scanner Darkly, The Protector, The Illusionist, and now The Science of Sleep.
My main gripe with this movie is that it was confusing. At times I couldn't tell if it was dream or reality. The two main characters were really annoying and the plot is quite lacking in the sense that it doesn't really go anywhere.
That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would love to see it again, but then that just might be because I really loved 'Eternal Sunshine.'
This movie was incredible and I urge everyone with the smallest shred of taste to go watch it. It spoke fucking volumes to me and totally hit my top 10 of all time. And yeah, I think it's way better than Eternal Sunshine (which means it's like REALLY REALLY good).
I'd also like to take this time out to mention that the Angelika theater in NYC is the biggest piece of shit I've ever watched a movie in. Aside from the shit seating, every 10 minutes you hear and feel the rumbling of the 6 train.
